Chain Reaction Cycles and Vitus Bikes are pleased to announce that 2013 will see the company support PMR Toachim House, a cross-country mountain bike team based in the South East of England.
Six of the team’s Elite riders have been chosen to race Vitus Rapide 29ers for the season across a number of events including Twentyfour12, the National Points Series and the Southern XC Series.
Paul Morton, Team Manager at PMR comments on the new deal: "Having just taken delivery of our new race bikes for the season we’re really excited to be working with Vitus and Chain Reaction Cycles – what better sponsor than the world's largest online bike store!
“The Rapide 29er is at race weight straight off the peg! I honestly don’t think you could get a bike made to the same standard and level of components for less money. Thanks to CRC and Vitus for giving us the opportunity to have race ready machines for 2013, let the good times roll (29er style!).”
The team have their sights firmly set on taking podium places throughout the year and taking the switch to ‘big wheels’ is all part of the plan, explains team rider Gemma Collins: “We had a successful season last year but ultimately knew that to progress we needed to move to 29ers. I’m really looking forward to running the Vitus this year – the Rapide 29er is simply stunning and I’ve really enjoyed getting to grips with it this week.
Simon Cordner, Chain Reaction Cycles PR Manager said: "We’re delighted to support PMR as a team this year. As a UK based brand it’s important for us to support UK riders in terms of grass roots development and support.
