We’ve already taken a look at the leader's jerseys for this year’s Giro d’Italia, which takes place from 9th May – 1st June, and here’s a preview of the commemorative Belfast jersey that’s been custom designed for the first stage from Belfast.
With hints of pink and displaying the icon of the famous Giro d’Italia trophy, the jersey’s front ‘Belfast’ design echoes the sculptural ‘Titanic’ sign which is located outside the Titanic Belfast building, as you can see below:

The rear of the jersey features the colours of the Italian flag at the sleeves and takes inspiration from Northern Ireland’s world-famous political murals; but the only thing the Giro d’Italia wish to promote is a fight for pink!
Starting in Belfast on 9th May, the grand tour will head down towards the Irish capital of Dublin. The race will hold three stages in Ireland and represents the first time a grand tour has visited Ireland since the 1998 Tour de France.
